Larry Cobado

Larry Cobado was the 88th Aero Club of Buffalo President and serves on the Executive Committee as a Past President of the Club. He is an experienced pilot who started flying in 1988 at Orchard Park Airport and has flown many airplanes including a Cessna 170A which he owned for 22 years. He maintains his currency by serving as a pilot for both the United States Coast Guard Axillary Air program, Erie County Sherriff’s Aviation Division, as well as the occasional $100 hamburger. Retired after successful careers at Verizon and National Grid, Larry lives on the Lake Erie shore in Hamburg N.Y. and enjoys watching sunsets with his wife, Marie.
