John Kozinski

 John has worked for the Buffalo Public Schools for over 50 years.
Thirty-four years as a full-time technology teacher and a high school Guidance Counselor at McKinley and Burgard High Schools. He currently assists GED students in earning their high school diplomas and helping foreign students learn English. These students come from many countries, including Bangladesh, Ukraine, and Afghanistan. As an active member of the Niagara Frontier Bicycle club, John has ridden 40 thousand documented club miles on his bicycle. He and his wife have visited over 60 countries and destinations on 6 continents including most states, Hawaii and Alaska, and most countries in Europe, Australia, China, South Africa, Turkey, Chile and many Caribbean Islands. He has been an Aero Club of Buffalo member since 2016 and sits on the Aero Club Scholarship selection committee. Awarding two Aero Clubs Scholarships is an important function of the Aero Club. He strongly believes that air travel and spaceflight is humanity’s greatest achievement.
