Austin Guest will be our presenter at our dinner and will be discussing the Royal Air Force (RAF) establishment at Biggin Hill, England and the part it played in the Battle of Britain. He will recount many stories about the men and women that served there, including Eagle Squadron pilots and many exciting and interesting events that took place in and around combat operations. He will further discuss the aircraft operated at Biggin Hill from the Hawker Hurricane to the iconic Supermarine Spitfire. Austin will also discuss the role of the RAF, Biggin Hill today in preserving history, the aircraft restoration projects and stories about the many aircraft currently based there. He has had the opportunity to meet many veterans from WWII and will share a few of their stories and his relationships with The Greatest Generation. Austin Guest is from Birmingham in England, he is a former Horse Guards Communication Specialist, Battle of Britain Historian and a curator at the Historic RAF Museum, Biggin Hill.
